Vegans choose fresh flour
Grain mills and flakers are ideal for vegans who value fresh flour daily as a lifestyle.

Grain is living. It is alive. Put a grain of wheat in the ground and water it it. The grain will germinate. That’s because it is living. Grain stored in CO2 is just as alive and will germinate after storage and CO2 is harmless to it. Grains even survive in a vacuum as do Yates seeds. They are all alive and will germinate. So we want to mill it daily. Just before we use it. Always use new fresh flour and mill your grains and legumes no more than 3 days before you use them. Two millings per week is what I do.
Select a grain mill the suits your vegan lifestyle. Probably and electric mill from our list. They are no work and take little time.

Hi, I am a teacher who works at a Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten. Which mill do you think would be the best for children to use? We prefer a non-electric option and how much will one cost?
Thank you
